Alumni Referral Scholarship for Sura College’s MSN Program

Sura College is proud to announce the Alumni Referral Scholarship, designed to support aspiring nursing professionals who have been referred by alumni of Sura College. This scholarship is aimed at making advanced nursing education more accessible and affordable.

Scholarship Details:

Award Amount:

• $10,580.65 tuition credit per student. The tuition credit is applied beginning in the student’s second term.  
• If the student is awarded transfer credit, the scholarship will be reduced to cover the costs of the credits to be attended in the term
• In the event of withdrawal after the first semester, should a refund be due, the refund will be returned to the scholarship program.  

Tuition Coverage:

• The scholarship will cover the tuition for the final 27 credits of the program.  

Student Responsibility:

• Students are responsible for covering the cost of:
  • Tuition for the first five (5) credits of the program ($1,959.35)  
  • Registration fees.

• Number of Scholarships: 20
• Eligibility: Open to applicants referred by a Sura College alum.
• Award Basis: Scholarships are awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
• Program: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Sura College

Eligibility Criteria:

• Referral Requirement: Applicants must provide a referral from a Sura College alum.
• Must be a new student in the MSN program at Sura College, starting in the Fall 2024 semester (August 26, 2024).
• Must maintain continuous enrollment throughout the scholarship period.
• Must pass each course with a “B” or higher

Conditions for Scholarship Renewal:

• To maintain eligibility for scholarship renewal, students must:
• Maintain continuous enrollment in the program.
• Pass each course with a “B” or higher.

Application Process:

1. Referral Verification: Obtain a referral from a Sura College alum. The referral must include the attendee’s name and contact information.
2. Submit Application: Complete the online scholarship application form on the Sura College website, including the referral verification.
3. Acceptance Notification: Scholarships are awarded on a first come, first serve basis. Eligible applicants will be notified of their scholarship status within two weeks of application submission.

The scholarship applicants are required to write an essay on how earning an MSN degree will contribute to the achievement of their professional goals and have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or above
